Kenaf Boards and Butanol (KBB), located in the farmland of the Lower Rio Grande Valley-Texas, develops and manufactures products made from kenaf. Kenaf is a fast-growing renewable plant that is becoming an industrial source of fiber for many applications. KBB’s Green Products include composite building materials, absorbent socks used in hazardous spills, waste-water treatment powders, and bio-butanol, an exciting product competing directly with ethanol.
